What's up, Amigos!
I know, I know, it's been a little while since there's been much activity around here and some people might be thinking I'm slipping again into a long unannounced hiatus! But that's not happening. Sure I posted one or two new Sonic works in the past few weeks, but I'm not as active as i had planned.
Simply put I'm struggling with a lot of self doubt and motivation at the moment. Maybe you could call it a crises of talent. I dunno, best i can describe it. I have three main forms of art at the moment. My Sonic art, some Anthro art, and usual anime/other art. But I'm struggling.
I'm happy with how my Sonic art has been turning out lately, I've settled down with that style and while I could make a few tweaks here or there I'm happy with the final products.
Any anthro or anime/other art however, not so much. I'm trying to work with various art styles, colouring techniques, and brushes, but nothing I do ever looks like or meets what I envision, and it is ever increasingly infuriating and making me feel like Sonic is all I ever can or will do.
For example, I have a wonderful Darling In The FranXX picture in the works (twitter.com/DarkNoiseUK/status…) and I'm perfectly happy with the sketch, but the colour rendering is driving me nuts. I thought of trying a semi realistic approach with the colour while still maintaining a form of lined/inked/pencilled art still, a mishmash between the two, but the more I try the more I hate my attempts at colour despite being able to visualise it.
So yes, that's where I stand at the moment. I'm infuriated with my own work and failure to make anything work the way I want it to. Which is of course holding up my graphic novel project of which I've been compiling a lot of research for lately.
So sorry about all that. I'm still around and still making art, but I am kinda stuck in a limbo at the moment. Hope you all stick around for more in future in anycase.

Going Forwards

What's up everyone!
So the past year have been utterly depressing and crazy, but the past few weeks has been nothing short of amazing here on DA though.
Over the last few weeks I've seen more and more of you come to take a look at my work and I just want to give each and everyone of you a massive shout out and say thank you all for your support! Every single fave, every single watch, it has all been appreciated and I look forward to sharing more work with you all in future
So, what to expect?
Well I'm still busy working on my first strip for Archie Sonic Online, coming into the last few pages now before I move onto the next strip. So hopefully you all get to see that soon and I can share my work on that.
Beyond that, I've got more K/DA x Sonic crossover works to come, as well as a festive Christmas piece.
Anything else?
Not much else for now, though I am working on dipping my pen back into some furry work, want flesh out Sophia's design and get running with that. Not been happy with previous works.

Hey all!
So we're under lockdown now in the UK, and in Spain, Italy, California, etc. It's unlikely the situation it gonna change anytime soon. I myself am under lockdown for at least three weeks. As such, unfortunately, this means I will be spending my birthday alone in my apartment. Kinda saw it coming, so there's no point in me moping about it. I got time to kill and quite frankly I haven't taken any extended period of time off from work like this... well... ever. School, Uni, Work. Never had a gap year or taken a cruise or anything, you get the picture.
But back to the point, I'm not gonna mope, I'm gonna enjoy the spare time I got and use it productively. I maybe trapped inside for my birthday but I'm still gonna enjoy it one way or another. Currently I'm saving up for a microphone so I can bring you all some streams and videos, as well as saving for a Switch so I can play some Animal Crossing. Though saving for that may not help much at the moment as all stock throughout the entire UK has dried up currently with nothing expected till April 17th. Damn panic buying!
In any case, commissions are OPEN! But I am totally aware that like myself many are a bit tight for money at the moment in these difficult times and many are struggling with jobs. That's why I've taken the decision to reduce ALL prices of commissions for the foreseeable future. It might not be of much help to many in these times but I hope the lower prices will help some looking for commissions. It's at times like these that creativity, art, media, and entertainment are needed most, but that doesn't mean charging the world for such things. So as I said, prices are now reduced, you can see the updated listings below for more information.

COMMISSIONS OPEN - Needing Help!

Hi everyone!
I hate posting like this sometimes because it feels like begging, but simply put I'm suffering some big cash problems at the moment.
In the past month my grandmother passed away after a long battle with COPD, as such I am preparing to attend her funeral in the next few days. However, she still lived in Sheffield, a very long way away from me, and I am now making a 600 mile round trip. As you can imagine the expense of such has been considerable, and with rent and bills due this week that expense has put me in a very poor position and I need help.
So please if you'd like a commission all the information is above and feel free to contact me through Notes. Any and all custom will be appreciated at this time as every little helps. Thank you.
PS. Sorry if my journal doesn't look it's usual self but I can't afford to be spending money on DA Core at the moment. Pardon my dust.
